I just saw the movie this morning and it was unbelievably offensive. “Whitewashing” is exactly what is going on. For years Hollywood has shown discriminatory practices, which is why I’m not shocked The Last Airbender exemplifies this. But what was soo shocking was how blatantly racist and unapologetic it was. The casting was completely horrendous not to mention the terrible acting. And please don’t belive the BS excuse from the director and Paramount about how casting was done with a certain purity and faceless manner but still managing to incorporate what they deem as diverse. Ridic! I’m glad people have been protesting this movie and I’m even more upset at myself for spending money on this franchise. Thank you Deepti, Mr. Le and the countless supporters of Racebending.com that shed light on this travesty of a film.

I am so happy that the word is getting out about the Last Airbender in the press recently. Hopefully this movie with flop, and people will realize just how racist Hollywood actually is. Its amazing that the critics are taking notice.
