Ken Arthur
Hometown: Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Ken Arthur is a software engineer who enjoys gaming, comics and science fiction. He has lived on both sides of the United States. Ken possesses a vestigial horn in the area of his right temple.

Catherine Bugayong
Hometown: Seattle, Washington

Catherine B is the lone Seattle-ite on the Racebending.com crew. Contrary to popular belief, this does not mean she likes coffee (hate it) or rain (hate it, too). She can’t, however, imagine life without recycling or living anywhere which isn’t a short distance from water and/or verdant things. In her scant and precious free time, Catherine is watching the world deal with problems like the Greek crisis and China’s undefined role on the world stage, or planning dim sum gatherings for friends and family (yummy!)

Gabrial Canada
Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana

Gabe Canada is from Indianapolis, Indiana where he is currently studying Journalism at Indiana University. He joined Racebending.com as a fan of the original Avatar: The Last Airbender series. Outside of school, he runs a local anime meetup group and is the co-founder of a production company, Kind of Epic Films.

Mike Le
Hometown: San Diego, California

Mike Le is a biomedical engineer, UCLA graduate student, and a Vietnamese-Filipino American. A native-born Californian, Mike objects to shoveling snow and is a strong proponent of carne asada fries. He dreams of doing a one-armed pull-up and hearing a white person say, “It’s such an honor to have John Cho play me in my life story.” Besides his work with Racebending.com and MANAA, Mike enjoys scrap-booking with his girlfriend and explaining the origin of fortune cookies.

Tony Le
Hometown: Orange County, California

Tony Le (no relation to Mike!) is a freelance writer for Racebending.com

Marissa Lee
Hometown: Irvine, California

Marissa Lee is one of the co-founders of Racebending.com. She is a Taiwanese American and a recent UCLA grad working in public health advocacy in Los Angeles. A writer, crafter, and fangirl, Marissa owns way too many Star Wars things and also volunteers for the Orange County Cavy Haven, a guinea pig rescue organization.

Dariane Nabor
Hometown: Delano, California

Dariane [DAH-Ree-Anne] Nabor hails from Delano, a small town in Calfornia’s central valley replete with grapes and pickup trucks. Besides volunteering with Racebending.com and MANAA, she helped found Untemplater.com, a website dedicated to helping twenty-somethings through their young adult confusion. In her free time, she enjoys solving Rubik’s cubes and scrap-booking with her boyfriend. She has met six-eighths of Buffy creator Joss Whedon’s family.

Loraine Sammy
Hometown: Vancouver, Canada

Loraine Sammy is one of the co-founders of Racebending.com. Loraine indulges her love for geeky things with creating fanart, attending conventions and shamelessly using fandom as her school of ruckus.   Her most absolute favourite aspect of being born and brown in Canada is being asked by other Canadians “But where are you REALLY from?”
