The Panelists

Our panel, Diversity and Fandom 102: How You Can Make a Difference took place first thing Sunday morning of ComicCon on July 24th, 2011.

Our panelists, actor Dante Basco (Avatar: The Last Airbender), showrunner/writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach (The Middleman), author Malinda Lo (Huntress), Arturo Garcia (Racialicious.com), Phil Yu (AngryAsianMan.com) and USC Professor Henry Jenkins (CivicPaths Project) addressed how fans, consumers, and creators for underrepresented groups can speak up for diversity and make a difference. The panel was moderated by Racebending.com’s Michael Le.
